Late Night Episode
The first EchoMe Artist of the Week, Late Night Episode is prepping for their alternative rock takeover. Smooth, versatile, and promising, their first four releases have garnered them popularity and hype for what’s to come with each record having its own unique story and sound. Their first release: “Swim”, quickly reached over 500,000 plays on Spotify in 2016 followed by their demo “Lost in Cali” with well over 400,000 plays and a spot on Spotify’s United States Viral 50 in May 2016. “Swim” is a radiant alternative rock hit with a sound that is hard not to compare to the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Their first two releases of 2017, “Talk About Love” May 2017, and “Golden Age” July 2017, continue to solidify that LNE is a legitimate up and comer. “Talk About Love” was included on Spotify’s New Music Friday upon release while Golden Age took a spot on Spotify’s “New Noise” upon its release and soared to over half a million plays on Spotify and is getting rapid exposure through AltNation on Sirius XM Radio.
Late Night’s lead singer and talented producer Daniel Lonner formed this New York City rock band with guitarist Eric Sherman, while drummer Brett Daniel and bassist Giovanni Stockton-Rossini joined later to complete the sound. Lonner writes and produces most of the band’s songs, he also co-produced up and coming rapper Topaz Jones’ first album, “Arcade”, in 2016, which includes hit track “Tropicana”. With all the talent behind Lonner’s writing, producing, and vocal abilities the sky is the limit for LNE.
With an abundance of unreleased music on the way LNE will make big strides in the coming months, especially with their nationwide Fall 2017 debut tour. Expect them to get signed and start pushing out their tracks more aggressively before the end of the year.
Check them out on Instagram @latenightepisode for snippets of tracks on the way. The video of them recording “SOS” (sound of sex) sure sounds like a future summertime hit!
